I am Abono, son of Alhaji Yusuff Olarewaju (Sir K) from Arandun, Irepodun LGA. I am not a career politician. I am one of you — a son of this soil who has watched our constituency be shortchanged for too long and can no longer stay silent.
For too long, we have left politics in the hands of a few people — and those few people have decided everything for all of us. Who gets the road. Who gets the school. Who gets the appointment. Who gets remembered and who gets forgotten.
That is not democracy. That is a small group of people sharing our future amongst themselves.
And every time we stay silent, every time we say "politics is not my business," we hand them another four years to do it again.
In 2018, I stepped forward and contested this seat. I lost. But I learned — and I never stopped believing that our people deserve better.
I am ready. But I cannot do this without you.
Politics changes when more of us get involved — not just on election day, but right now. Your support — financial, vocal and physical — is what breaks the cycle.
Every naira funds grassroots mobilisation, ward outreach, APC primaries and community townhalls across Irepodun.
The moment we decide — together — that enough is enough, nobody can stop us.
